new YA: THE CANDY RAVERS

The Candy Ravers:

It’s June and 17-year-old Jacey Turner is on her way to Pelican Island. After a hectic junior year, she can’t wait to kick back with her old island friends, Mai and Lindsay, work on her tan, and zip down the beach on her Vespa.

But that is not to be. Since last summer, something’s gone wickedly wrong with the Island. Ugly graffiti covers store walls. Benches are chained. Burglar bars cover windows. At Jacey’s condo, armed guards patrol the grounds.

Even worse, old friend Lindsay is stick-thin and acting weird.

Jacey is determined to get to the bottom of it all. Follow Jacey as she spies her way into deep danger, stumbles upon a murder, and discovers Lindsay’s dark secret.
